About me

I am a cosmologist and an Assistant Professor in the Physics group at the School of Sciences, Azim Premji University, Bengaluru. I work on how the Universe expands and how its large-scale structure grows: dark energy, gravitational lensing, and what large galaxy surveys can tell us about gravity itself.

I did my PhD at the University of Geneva with Prof. Ruth Durrer (thesis), working on galaxy number counts and relativistic effects. I was then a DST-INSPIRE Faculty fellow at the Indian Institute of Science with Prof. Rajeev Kumar Jain, and a DAAD fellow at Heidelberg University with Prof. Björn Malte Schäfer.

I also enjoy teaching across disciplines and talking about the Universe with the public. When I'm not doing physics, I'm probably watching or writing about films.
